What is the best method to remove? Vintage 68 Jun 16th, 04, 10:07 AM My '67 coupe had loads of what I quess was 3-M 'Gorilla Snot' used to apply the seal. I used my industrial heat-gun to soften it and then some 3-M trim adheasive remover liquid to scrub it out of the chanel. Try an auto body supply store for the remover. jblakes Jun 16th, 04, 02:07 PM 3-M makes a "release agent"....that is the product name...it can be purchased at almost any auto body/paint supply house. Places like Classic Camaro: Ricks: Paddock etc...carry it also. spideynut Jun 16th, 04, 08:42 PM Thanks I'll try it. M Ryan Jun 20th, 04, 11:25 AM I just got the 3M stuff and tried it out. It changed the rock hard glue back into it's original gel form. I then used a squared-off popsicle stick to scrap it out of the channel. Thanks for the advice!! |
