Does anyone know the length of the speedometer cable for a Muncie? Rick's lists 2 lengths, 62" and 71". Thanks.

(I'm guessin) The cables are all the same (ends and fitment). The shorter one fits transmissions with the cable on the drivers side. The longer one fits transmissions with the cable on the passenger side (original muncie.)

from my understanding, the 62 is for the ss with the muncie and it goes to the pass. side and it also exits by the throtle lever. the other one is for the saginaw and exits closer to the fuse panel. it is also my understanding that it is also routed differently on coupes and convertables with the verts taking a longer route. im not an expert on the subject and im sure i will be corrected but i thought i might offer what i know about it.

hmmm... I checked my D&R catalog, was no help whatsoever, lists 4, manual and auto, 67&68 and one for 69, no lengths listed, all the same price.
