I received three emails from someone interested in a part I have advertised in the Free Classified section of the forum and on Ebay. They first inquired as to the price even though it was listed on EBAY. They later offered about $6200 for a convertible x-brace. "Sherri_may" used the email address listed in the classifieds, not the address on ebay. I don't think anyone here is that dumb but I thought I'd put it out for what it's worth. I'd take a little less than $6200 in case anyone is interested!

but if someone offered you $6200, would you not take it?

It would have been a great deal if they hadn't wanted me to send them a cashier's check for $6100 change and the X-brace.

Watch out for cashier's check, many scams out there where they pay you with a bogus cashier's check, by the time the bank figures out its a fake its to late.

Don't EVER accept a Cashier's Check for anything (any more) without calling the issuing bank and verifying that it's good; bogus Cashier's Checks are everywhere these days. :(
