The rear monitor sits on the top of the rear package tray right at the front edge of the tray, on a convertible it attaches to the rear face of the rear seat support and sticks up above the top of the seat back. There is only one monitor inside Camaro's, the rear ones that monitors the parking, brake, and license plate lamps. The front lights are monitored by two little chrome plated indicators that sit on the front fenders and are connected to the headlight and parking lights with fiber optics. You need special housings with the fiber optic connectors on them for your headlights, parking lights, tail lights and license plate lights to use the fiber optic setup, they don't work with the standard housings found on non fiber optic equipped cars.

The assembly manual provides all the info on routing the fibers and installing the monitors in the car.
