well from what i learned most of you have the old school cars smile.gif ...and i <3 them all but my stupid camaro just started being retarted and the hatch doesnt "suck" down when i shut it ....it was doing it before but today boom stopped working :( and its driving me nuts i cant figure it out ...im not worried bout it until ....friday ...thats when i have an issue due to rain!

Take a screwdriver and push the mechanism down.

are you talking about the like lever that would start the solenoid?

ill go out there after im done eating my fruit loops smile.gif and ill see what i can do....why would it not do it without the screwdriver?

OMG i just noticed something ...how am i to push this down if i have all the panels back on it?

It can be done with everything together, Just try it, I see it all the time.

hrmph it was being stupid and wont work with me ...im having my shop take a look at it ...its probably like a 20 minute fix ...ill be willing to fork out 20 bucks for it

there is a little latch that u can take a screw driver and push down.... mine does the same thing 1st it would irritate me..

my shop for free told me go get a real effin lock and such because that one is shot smile.gif
