Hi.......

What is the 'correct' T3 headlamp for a '68 Camaro? Triangle in the center? With vertical lines or not?

Thanks!

Vertical lines in the triangle. "Guide" about 1-1/2" below triangle. "Sealed Beam" around the rim at the bottom.

I was told that Repo,s have the tiny letters "DOT" on the lower left corner. I looked at some repo,s and sure enough there they were.
I compared them to the originals in my car and they do not have the letters.
Just my .25 worth.

The T-3 repops you find today are not correct for 67-69 Camaros. They were repoped and are correct for the 55-57 Chevy crowd.
There is no correct repops for the Camaros....yet

Earlier versions of the T3 had the GUIDE at the very bottom, and SEALED BEAM 1-1/2" below the triangle.

Seems like I remember something about the DOT designation becoming required by law in 1970 or so.

They pop up on eBay from time to time. That's where I got mine. Also, you can post here in "parts wanted".
