If you're not interested in originality or if the rear has spring perches or not, why don't you comb your local car shows/swap meets or classifieds for a coil over 12 bolt? They usually sell for substantially less than a leaf spring 12 bolt beacause there are a lot more available. Just make sure you get one that measures 54 1/2 inches from backing plate to backing plate and weld leaf spring perches on it.

I was in the same boat you are in. Everybody wants too much money for a leaf spring 12 bolt. The one I bought cleaned up really nice. I cut the ears for the control arm bushings off the top too so the moron who crawls under my car at a car show can't say, "Hey that's not the right rear for this car..."
