Is there a difference between a manual convertible top frame and a power top frame. I would like to add a power top if possible. It's totaly dissasembled.

You can't add power to the manual top frame. Mark C May 6th, 04, 04:50 PM You can physically add the power top hardware to a manual top but it won't open and close correctly. The difference is in the center hinge and the linkage connected to it from the rear quarter area. A manual top is designed to be pulled up from the front, the power tops are designed to be pushed up from below. A manual top with the hydraulic cylinders attached will not open up or close all the way by itself, you'll have to assist it.
