ok. i completely disasssembled my origianl alternator so i can bead blast it. is there anything i need to know prior to assembly? what is the best way to keep it looking new? i looked through the eastwood cat. and was thinking about the alumi blast. i think that is what it is called. any input on this product?

After cleaning the housing, I wouldn't put any type of coating on it, just leave it bare. Occasional cleaning with an aluminum cleaner should be sufficient.

They look more natural if you send them out and have them tumbled. Then I would coat it with high temp Satin Clear Coat to protect it from dulling too much.
