With all the restore books on the market witch one or ones should I get to be able to take completely apart and rebuild my 68 Camaro. Looking for alot of pics, drawings, and wire Diagrams

Good start is the 68 Factory assembly manual. This will give you the nuts and bolt illustrations of how the cars were put together on the line.

After that Jerry MacNeish's The Definitive 1967-1968 Camaro Z/28 Fact Book, or The Definitive 1969 Camaro Z/28-SS396 Fact Book (for 69 model year people) for all the finishes on the individual components. Remember, a Z28 is just a Camaro with a 302 engine, and a Muncie Transmission all the rest of the parts are the same. (Ohh let the flames begin)

I have to second the assembly manual. Not much in the way of descriptive instructions but the pictures, part numbers, and schematics alone are priceless. I have used the heck out of mine while my other Camaro resoration books sit on the shelf collecting dust.
