anyone know what the average cost of sand blasting or media blasting

Media runs about $400.00 to $600.00 around here.

I've got a do it yourself sand blast place near me. It costs about $1 per minute. It's pretty expensive so I just decided to buy a siphon feed unit from walmart for $14. I've got a 60 gallon air compressor so I can cheaply do my own blasting now. It's not good for heavy duty blasting but it's great for small to medium size parts.
