I have the original Delco AM Radio and the original speaker was rotted out. I found a shop in Newberg Oregon that reconed my original dash speaker for 20.00 plus 7.50 in return freight. It works great. The entire process took about 1 1/2 weeks.
The shops name was Vintage Radio Restoration. Look them up on the web if you are interested.
Next I am going to try one of those inside mount antenna. I just can'd bring myself to drill the fender or the back quarter panel. Anyone had luck with thy antenna you mount up high on the windshield? Im hoping it won't be to noticable from the outside because of the shading at top of the windshield and concealed from view on the inside by the pass. visor .

The inside mount antennas are only for FM. Even then they don't work all that well. They can't be attached to or within a couple inches of metal. I have one and have it ran under the console to the back seat as I didn't want to glue it to the windshield. With the top up I get the same stations but a bit better that come in without any antenna. It gets a few more stations with the top down but I still find myself moving the damn thing around looking for better reception. I'm tempted to put in a rear mounted power antenna.
