Can someone tell me if a 67 RS/SS package came with a SS badge in the center of a 3 spoke steering wheel, or did it come with RS in the center of 3 spoke steering wheel. Is the 3 spoke steering wheel the right wheel for stock?
Thanks in advance

rfine,
SS badging superseeded RS badging in the RS/SS, so my gut is that it would have an SS on the center hub of the steering wheel. There were several steering wheels available as an option from the factory in adition to the standard wheel (Deluxe wheel and wood grained wheel)
Hope this helps,
Victor

Does it have an RS on the wheel now? If it does and that RS is original, it could be a sign that it is a L30/M20 with the RS option.

SS came with "SS" center cap. All of the wheels in 67 were 3 spoke.

My early SS/RS small block has the SS350 horn cap and grill badge...and if I remember correctly, gas cap too. The performance pkg SS takes precedence to the appearance pkg RS.

I thought the earlier SS350's were badged as SS's until the SS396 became available, then the SS350 designation came in.
Can anyone confirm yea or nay?

No, jg9, all 67 SS350's had SS350 nameplates

Not actually true Joe. Midyear the SS350 grill badge was dropped and the SS took its place. I don't believe the there were SS396 emblems on grills. Only on the fenders.

God my head is spinning. Anyone care to add more confusion to the equation?
I feel like I need a flow chart to sort this one out.
