I need some help identifing two cylinders in the trunk of my '68 convertible. When you look into the trunck there are two 4" diam. or so cylinders that are approx. 8" tall. There is one on each side and they are mounted in the corners that are formed by the rear side pannels and the tail lights. Any thoughts, if needed I can take pics and post them.
Could these be from a automatic top (some sort of hyd. resevoir)? The top is manual currently
Thanks for the help

Cocktail Shakers are located, one at each corner of the vert, a large sealed cylinder containing a weight and spring mechanism and filled with Fluid do help eliminate excess vibrations because of the convertibles tendancy for flex and vibration.
These were added to help eliminate these vibrations, and to help give the car an over all smooth ride.

John;
Be sure to take the time, if you haven't already, to read through the post on "Cocktail Shakers" that is archived here - http://www.camaros.net/forum/ultimatebb.php/topic/22/54.html
