Why keep posting the same thing over and over? This is the third time in about 22 hours, all it odes is clog the forum with extraneous messages. Just reply to your own message if you want to bring it back to the top, but give people a chance to answer, it is afterall thanksgiving weekend and most people are not posting.
Is this bottom channel rubber in a peice of steel that runs along the bottom of the glass? If so it's not replaceable, its an black urethane adhesive similar to what is used to hold the windsheilds into the car. Unless the glass is loose in the channel, leave it alone because it will be real easy to break the glass trying to get that channel off.
I know the chrome comes off the wing windows, but since I have a 69 I'm not sure how it comes off.

You can get the vent window glass out by using a razor blade utility knife and cut between glass and vent frame on both sides of glass. Carefully pull the glass out after cutting. Do not force the glass. It took me about 30 minutes for each one.The rear 1/4 windows come out easily if you are replacing the fuzzy weather strips - take these out first then unbolt windows and rotate the windows towards the door and you will get them out. The front windows will come out of the rubber in the channel if you work at it. Just replaced my passenger side...
