I find it hard to believe, but my real question is what kind of paint is on it. It looks like a wrinkle finish, or is it under coat. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34200&item=4509383531&rd=1

I think I will sell mine for that kind of money. Mine is an N.O.S part also.

O=Original

With the money I could by a nice aftermarket subframe.
What about vin#'s on the one on ebay? I don't think it should have one but buyer beware, they will need to look in the right area to make sure the metal has not been touched.
Where do people dig these parts up at is what I want to know?

RE: Finish - if I were to guess, I think its the original "asphalt" paint used on frame components back then.
Some specialty suppliers still sell for authentic concurs resto's.
