The plastic dash bezel for the 69 camaro where the speedo and tac mount, is this black plastic a low gloss or high gloss finish? When you polish it up with a plastic cleaner it has quite a shine to it! Thanks.

It is a low gloss after all these years, when clean, it should have a satin look to it. When polished, it will have a gloss look, but will soon lose that appearance and go satin over time.

I just took my dash carrier apart this past weekend, planning on custom gauges. It looks like the clear lenses and their surrounding black plastic are all one piece with the black painted. The carrier itself is molded black plastic so they have different sheens to them.

I sent my carrier off to Dakota Digital and they installed a great system. Tach, Speedo, oil, water volts, and fuel level. The whole system comes with the sending units including an electronic speedo sender. The small computer box mounts up under the dash. connect the sending units to the bax and connect the ribbon cable to the cluster. There is an ok pic in my sig.
