This 1969 LA car I just bought did not come with keys..the owner who passed away had a coffee can with all of the keys to his caars in it and his son would not let anyone look in the can for the keys to the cars the estate sold..so , I would like to know what is the best way to have keys made. Is there someone who will re-key the original ignition and locks or do I have to replace them all ?

Pull a door lock and the glove box lock, take them to a competent locksmith/keycutter. They should be able to make new keys from the numbers on the locks. The door and ignition use the same key and the trunk / glove box is the other key if the locks are original.
