What years of cars was this actually used on? I see many of them showing up on Ebay, and was wondering what years and cars they were on.

Scot,
I have a partial answer: 1969 Camaro Z/28.
They came on many more late '60's Chevrolet also as I've seen them in the junk yards. The trick is finding one that isn't corroded and the numbers show well.

I am missing the one for my car, so would it be correct for a 67 SS250?

They came on almost every Chevrolet V8 small block through the late 60's and early 70's. Even some low performance cars.

Some big blocks Corvettes and L78's used them also.

The numbers were cast into the rear edge of the housing until mid 1969.
After that they were cast into the neck.
An SS-350 would have used it - painted orange.

The stamping were different through the years.
I have about a dozen original ones here, with three different stampings used.

Don't ask, cause I can't remember what years or cars I got these from.

Gary,
I've pulled several off of cast iron four barrel intakes. They looked like originals but not positive.

Yes, they were used on many of the iron Intakes.

Although they were not dated, the "font" of the 660 stampings changed through the years.

I never really kept track of what they were coming off of, to make a determination.

Recently, I found one on a 1970 Malibu with 307 - 2bbl.
That is actually the typical cars I have been finding them on.

Although they were not dated.... Actually they are dated. There is a tiny number casted along the border of them which is the month.

.....And when I say tiny I mean tiny. The smallest casted number I have ever seen on a car part so look closely.

How could you determine the year?
