No......LOL
so you agree with mark on all points? [ you are the reigning expert on ZL2 induction now you know smile.gif ]

do you know why the 70 chevelle has the flat spot on the seal ring?

and your opinion on why the original has a 90 degree bend in the pipe vs the 2 45's on the repro.
the stock carb is a single pump vac sec....

I agree with Mark on all counts.

I do not have a 70 Chevelle, but the pics I have seen the notch is on the pass side and kinda looks like piping or trans vac line is on that side. But that is just a guess from pics.

The 90 bend is very similar to the bend on vapor return lines for 2bbl cars, maybe GM just reused the tooling.

I feel the 2 45s on the repro were based on the cowl not fitting on non stock dbl pumpers. The repro co. did not want to make a part that could not be used by a larger customer base, so they modified the part to fit on all carbs. my .02 anyway.

I have an original 70 LS6 in my garage, I can take pictures of the cowl cleaner on that if you want.

The 69 Camaro flange did not have the flat cut on the passenger side. It was sort of egg shaped on that side.
