Well, im wondering what is better for a 68 Camaro, 12 Bolt or 4 Bolt main and why?

I think your finger hit the wrong key - the options are 2 bolt or 4 bolt main cap. Or, 10 bolt or 12 bolt diff.
A 4 bolt main cap is viewed as 'better' because it evenly distributes the load across the cap, has a widder footprint and stronger due to the larger clamping surface area and additional 2 bolts per cap.

Really depends on use. Under 500hp and no power adders a 2 bolt should be fine.

Okay yeah, I accidently put a 1 in there, im not looking to do any racing or anything so I should be okay with a 2 bolt. Reason why I ask is im learning about cars and such and I wana jot down what I wana get in my car once I receive it.

Overall the 12bolt diff and 4 bolt main will be better but as stated above if your not going to beat the crap out of them, you should be ok. In your case you'd be better off focusing on the top end of the engine and matching the gears in your diff to your setup. I wouldn't let these options stop you from buying a car, they can always be upgraded later on in the project, unless your looking to buy and just drive the car. JIMO...

Here's another one:
Which is better,
New Coke or antilockbrakes?

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm a pretty big Simpson's fan.

50,000 comedians and this is what we get. I would prefer the Coke over the 12 bolt. OK, I just had to. The 2 bolt mains are fine. I would suggest if rebuilding, consider going to an ARP stud setup for the mains then have it align honed. Just a little insurance and not costly. I see this new forum hasn't helped my spelling any.

Definately the Coke, because ice cream doesn't have bones.
