EVER SINCE WE REBUILT MY MOTOR IN MY 69 Z, I HAVE DEVELOPED A PROBLEM THAT I CAN NOT SEEM TO FIND. WHEN I TRY TO START THE CAR, I GET ABSOLUTELY NOTHING EXCEPT THE FACTORY TEMPERATURE GAUGE PEGS . I THINK I MAY HAVE A GROUND ISSUE OR MAYBE EVEN A FAULTY IGNITION SWITCH BUT I AM NOT SURE. HELP! :clonk:

Are you saying you havent cranked it up since the rebuild? If not make sure all the wires are connected to the starter in the correct place ,if they are check for fire at the fuse box,if your getting fire there check for fire at the wire at the solenioid when the ignition switch is in the crank position, like you stated check for a good ground. Also check the neutral safety switch if its automatic.Probably something simple just getting overlooked.Good luck
