i bought the right and left full floor pans and i am ready to install. today i started cutting out the passenger side. did you drill all the spot welds on the bottom side and then fit it all up? did you butt weld it or overlap a inch or so?
thanks

layed the new floor on top of the old floor, marked with a magic marker and looked for things you shouldn't cut. went around the seat belt bolt hole in the hump, marked below the line i previously made by one inch and used a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade. on the door jamb side i actually left a one inch "shelf" and laid the new floor on top of that and tacked and fitted evrything and then ran continuous bead inside and out.
grind flat and prime, seamseal to smooth the area out and paint and undercoat. you can barely see my seams and would miss them if you didn't know to look for them.
dry fit, dry fit, dry fit!!! before making any welds.
