Just bought a 67 convertable. I'm 6'3" and really need another 4 inches, at least, of leg room. Any way to move seat back further or is there an aftermarket set with longer rails?

Thanks

Use clicks template or they have quite a few of these on ebay:

or type in "69 camaro seats" and a bunch will come up

Thanks all for the quick response. Looks like I've got some work to do before it gets warm! Those "seat extenders" on Ebay and elsewhere are remakes of the original GM's. They give 2", which would be nice, but will the custom setup click provided be able to give me more?

I followed Click's design and it worked great. Thanks Click! I had to modify the hole locations on the steel bar to match my '69 convertible's seats and floor pan bolting locations. I installed the steel bar on the seats, then bolted the seat down in the car. Here is a photo of the finished project. Only took a couple of hours.

BTW: The link above will only be good for a couple of weeks, so if you need the photo, email me.

My design has the 'slots' instead of 'holes' so you get more adjustment out of it. If you need more space, make the slots longer, be sure to use the ribbed washers and lock washers to bolt down so it wont move on you as well. I gained about 2" at my head so I can wear a baseball cap while driving now. Before my head was almost to the roof. Mine cost me about $25 for the pair at a local metal fab shop that had the steel bar and good drill bits :)
