I have the chance to pick up about 10-12, 70 through 72 chevelle doors at 50.00 dollars a piece. I just hate to see them C R U S H E D. Do you guys think it would be a good investment, probably can get some hoods and trunk lids for the same price.

Truthfully - I have been trying to 'do-my-part' in any way to save parts lately.
I recently picked up a set of 1965 Buick Electra doors (yard sale - $25 for the pair) and gave them to a contact in the classic salvage business - just because I would have hated to see them crushed or ???
Same thing for some old 40's  Ford truck bed parts I found. Forwarded to a 'Santa Cruz Ford' friend.
If I can "Save-a Part" - I do... One look in my shop would show you what a 'soft-touch' I am about this graemlins/clonk.gif
I'm sure one "poke" over on Team Chevelle would bring lots of interest.
I hate to see these old parts be distroyed for any reason.

You might ask over at www.chevelles.com (http://www.chevelles.com)
IMO if the crusher is their fate I think the price is high, that's not to say they are not worth more. Offer $300 for the lot of 10-12 and see where it goes...

Depends also if the doors are off a coupe or a Wagon or 4-Door Sedan!
My guess is for coupe doors in great shape (possibly with window regulators and motors) the price seem quite reasonable...
Good luck graemlins/beers.gif
