View Full Version : Someone in Wash state, grab this quick...
click Sep 7th, 04, 05:05 AM This looks like a great starter car for under $6k someone grab it quick out there. It sure looks reasonable to me. It offsets all the posts about overpriced cars. Im not necessarily promoting a 4sale item, as much as pointing out that a constant vigile will find a true value even today.

69-Z11Pacer Sep 7th, 04, 10:24 AM Guys,
The seller who has that car (Tim) is an honest guy. I have talked with him and e-mailed with him back and forth over the past year about Pace Cars (he has a Big Block Pacer). I would bet it is a good car to look at. I'd buy it if I wasn't so far away.
Just an FYI

This seems like a better deal to me. What am I missing?
MrDanB Sep 7th, 04, 01:41 PM Well Jim,
I didn't wanna let the cat out of the bag....but I see original 307, 327, and even 350 69 camaros periodically for that kind of $$. I bought mine for 2k from an unsuspecting older gal, but they are still out there in this neck of the woods. It's so forested in much of this state, you could be driving on an old hiway that goes to the woods and there will be one sittin' in some old garage/shop/bushes. I'm just waiting for the big block or supercar to pop up in a bitter divorce sale ;)

68rs406 Sep 7th, 04, 06:03 PM yep, true story. if you can find them before they find ebay, deals are still to be had. i paid 5K for my 68 rs that was a complete runner, almost totally rust free too. around here the body rust is present, but not the nastieness you midwesterners have from the salt, after seeing pics of some of the cars from these areas, i truly feel lucky. but, i only want one, any more is just a pain in the ass. unless i pick up a dedicated race car :D
SSupermanZ Sep 7th, 04, 06:11 PM Kinda fishy to me.... http://home.comcast.net/~trciri/ebay/plainjaner-10.JPG

good for for a car that sat in a barn
69-Z11Pacer Sep 8th, 04, 04:27 AM There's nothing fishy about it. The seller is an honest guy.
69-Z11Pacer Sep 8th, 04, 04:28 AM Read the description:
"Its kinda rough shape, shows nicer in the pictures than it really is but could use a complete interior kit, had a cheapie red paint job done way back 15 years ago and didn't even do the jambs."
phel69 Sep 12th, 04, 02:56 AM looks too
good for for a car that sat in a barn I guess that you didn't see the pictures of the Vette's that clill bought after he cleaned them up. They were all sitting in a barn.
