I had to replace a pinion seal on my 9" and decided to go through it and do the bearings and tighten up the Equa-Lok. I had been waiting for it to warm up so I could lay on the garage floor. Today it was almost 70F so I started. I had to pull both sides of the exhaust loose from the headers, disconnect the emergency brake cable to move the exhaust, swab the axle housings, replace the axle seals, get that @#$%^!! chunk back up into the housing off the floor jack, and reconnect the exhaust and emergency brake cable. I am letting the RTV set up tonight and will fill the differential tomorrow and reconnect the driveshaft. I am so sore I can bearly move. Oh what fun.
