I have an Accel billetproof distributor #71100e that is missing the cap and rotor. I looks to me like it uses the same cap as the old Mallory YL dual point. The only differance I see is one is tan and the other red..... Can any body confirm this?

The Accel I used to have just used a standard GM HEI cap. Not sure what the Mallory uses though . . . last Mallory I had (and its been 10 years) used a Mallory-specific cap. Maybe yours is different.

I have the same 71xxx distirbutor. Don't know about the mallory, but the cap and rotor for the accell are in stock at summit, as is the module.

Well, I looks like the Accel 71100 uses the Mallory YC/ZC cap and rotor. I am trying to find out if these items can be purchesed at the local Napa in the Echlin line.
