I have a 79 Z with a T-10 4spd. When I bought the car someone changed it to a AT, (But that is no fun) I put it back to 4spd, But my shifter looks to be in the wrong place?? IT looks to be too close to the drivers seat.
The shifter basically come right out the side of the tunnel. (The Tunnel was all cut up be the prev owner). I'm Trying to Fabb in a new tunnel for the shifter. BUT!!!! With my new Fabbed Tunnel The is no way to adjust the Shifter linkages (The Dawl the goes in to the bottem of the Hurst shifter won't fit!) IT is like the Shifter is either too low or too high!
Does any body out there have a factory 2nd Gen Camaro with a 4spd? I need to know what your set up looks like.
