I pulled the plastic back off my 67'seats and there's tons of cotton or something in there. Is this a gift from a mouse or does it belong there ?

Is this a gift from a mouse or does it belong there ? Factory seats have cotton batting with a gauze type covering. over the outer edge of the seat foam(from the pleats outward). But it could be a mouse.... I found one last week under the kick panel I think he was original equipment ... all dried up in a cotton nest Run269 Apr 4th, 05, 10:48 PM what was the date code on that mouse and we'll look him up.:D gene_sc Apr 4th, 05, 11:32 PM what was the date code on that mouse and we'll look him up.:D Wait ... maybe he ate the build sheet. I better dig him out of the garbage and call csi Run269 Apr 4th, 05, 11:39 PM tomorrows headlines... "CSI investigation reveals ultra rare camaro build sheet"... sick67 Apr 5th, 05, 12:19 AM did he have the "ultra rare Yenko package" sick67 Apr 5th, 05, 06:21 PM well I opened up the other seat and the nest was the size of a softball but the first seat was 3/4 full all the way up the back. It's all been removed and all the poop vaccumed out I just hope I don't have a new house guest. Unreal Apr 5th, 05, 06:29 PM If your car was an early build Norwood car (prior to Dec 15, 1968) it should not have a mouse in the seat back. Obviously another clone. Carefully steel wool the mouse head to see if you can find a date code. Take a pic, Kurt can let us know if it's a restamp. Uncle Tupelo Apr 5th, 05, 08:35 PM I wonder what a mouse out of an original Yenko would bring on Ebay? Run269 Apr 5th, 05, 11:37 PM check your trim tag and see if it has mickey mouse ears on it... gene_sc Apr 6th, 05, 09:07 AM well I opened up the other seat and the nest was the size of a softball but the first seat was 3/4 full all the way up the back. CSI sent my mouse in for dna matching..... we better get a sample from you as well off to the lab.... we might have a serial cotton killer on the loose. stope4 Apr 6th, 05, 05:59 PM I think I found your mouse in my backyard today. Been there a long time. May have to do some carbon date testing to see how old he was. |
