Can anyone tell me what these are and where they go? They are for my 68 SS 350 with a manual transmission if that makes a difference.

They are part of the motor mount recall in the early 70s. they went around exhaust manifold and front upper bushing bar. You are missing a few parts btw.

Thanks for the help. Does anyone know where I can find what I am missing or have any pictures? I guess the recall explains why I could not find anything in the assembly manual.

Engine stop lift cables, keep an eye out on eBay, I see them every now and them, and not TOO expensive yet...........in fact, here's one!

I believe they tie into a bracket that hooks to the exhaust manifold...i'd have to look under my hood to verify that, but I believe that is correct.
Mine are on the drivers side and NOT on the passenger side.
