The weather here is warming up quick. Soon it`ll be hot and super muggy.
Went to the track wed`s night:

Ran an 11.41 ET @ 119.68 MPH 60 ft was a so-so 1.67 ET.
This was on the first pass, went down hill from there though.

Purposely short shifted at 5400 RPM on that run just because it was..the first run... in hind sight, should have brought it up to 6000 RPM as all the other runs were slower due to spinning.

The last run is an example of what shifting at 6000 RPM did when trying to make up for a weak start...11.77 ET @ 119.45 MPH with a spinning 2.07 60 ft.

All in all, a new best is still a good night no matter

Just wanted to share...

BBC and Junkyard Dog thanks really need to just get the suspension tuned up.

67rs...Sorry I don`t have the time slip so I can`t say what the 1/8th time was. I do know it was 94-95 MPH
The best 60 ft so far is only 1.61 ET. The Hotchkis suspension isn`t really drag stuff.
Just need to make some changes including putting those on the shelf for awhile.
Got a short list ready to get started on.

i first started to write that i thought you needed some 60ft work but after i saw that you were running 323 gears i think you must have it hooking pretty dog gone good.from my test and tune experiances i know you will pick up the sixtys on a good preped track and your times will pick up also with the better 60ft times

Sounds pretty interesting, just have a couble questions since im just trying to get into this whole thing. How many RPM's do you turn at the end of the track? What kind of tire do you use, and how big are they? Lastly, where im going to be tearing into my car soon with, what kind of converter and how big is it? Thanks...ill post some pictures of the Chevelle up soon!
