Hey Guys & Gals,

I am looking for two front seats for a 1967 Camaro RS. I would like to be able to use a 4 or 5 pt harness, but I am not planning on installing any roll bars. I have seen the seat threads before, but I was curious if anybody had found any that would fit a slightly larger guy (250lbs, 5ft 9"). Most of the ones I have seen, such as Sparco, don't look to be quite wide enough. And seeing as there is hardly any place to try one on without purchasing, I am asking for your help. I would like seats that look like normal seats, with a little side bolstering maybe, but that have the slots near the top for the harness to slide through and lay flat. Thanks!

If you talk to one of the larger Sparco distributors, like OG Racing for example, they can tell you exactly which ones will fit you. Recaro is another option. Both are pretty expensive but better quality than the low priced copies. You want to have a roll bar if you are using race seats and harnesses. The car wouldn't be nice to have on your head if you go upside down.
