Anybody know which F70-14 tire should be on a 03D build date 69 pace car, Goodyear Polyglas F70-14, Goodyear Wide Tread GT or Firestone Wide O Oval? Having trouble trying to determine the tire I need. I have pictures of the original pace car and promotional pictures and it looks like they have "Wide Tread GT" tires but I don't see them in any of the Camaro catalogs.

I would go with Goodyear Polyglas F70-14's.
They would be a safe pick.

I agree. I went the Firestone Wide Oval route and have been told they are incorrect. Although I was also told the ride would be terrible because it was a repro bias ply tire. I found they ride better than the cheapy Pep Boys Futura radials that were on there when I bought it.

I picked up this Goodyear Widetread on ebay #4538511039. Does not have the GT, but I feel these came on early 69 cars. I just dont know about the Z11? I will use it as the spare.
