I know that this must be in the archives, but I guess that I don't know the best selection of key words to get where I need to be since this is my first visit. Anyway....
I have a 2000 SS and am tired of replacing the brake rotors and pads. I still have stock rotors, but use metalic pads. The rotors seem to warp very quickly so I would like to do an upgrade. It can't cost any more than I have paid for all of the brake jobs. I need something that will last longer and it must be safer than the annoying pulsations.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

This is a fist gen forum, so not much get's posted on the late stuff.
Are your front and rear brake pad materials matching?
Are you sure the front brakes are operating properly?

My wife has a 2002 SS with no such problems, but not a lot of miles on it.

how are you torquing the wheels on it? those late model 2 piece rotors will warp pretty easily if you don't torque the lug nuts down evenly. also, if there is any sort of dirt or debris between the hub and rotor, it will cause the rotor to wobble.
