Did have a '79 403 Trans AM with a 100 MPH speedometer that would go all the way around. Highest that one ever went to was one full circle then all the way back to 25 MPH. With the 90 degree unnumbered area at the bottom of the speedo, I guestimated the car topped out around 150 or so. Guess the 2.56 rear gears helped the top end.
