well I don't know if I closed my hood with a scewdriver or something else in the way but know I cant get it to open.does anyone have any ideas how to get it open?69 camaro.

Is it shoved forward hitting the header panel and jambing the release?

You may be able to reach up under the front and pry on the release mech/pin enough to get it to 'pop-up' or you may be able to carefully wedge a thin towel wrapped piece wood or ??? between the header panel and hood and try releasing it again.
Worst case, you may need to remove the grill and get to the hardware for the release and loosen it enough to get it to release.

I ended up finding that I left a bolt in between the hood and the latch.
