I need a kit (if someone even makes one) for my 69 AC suitcase. I need the gaskets etc, to rebuild the box. Does anyone offer this in a kit or do you have to buy each piece individually?

I recently received a rebuild kit and have the same questions. The only pieces that I think I can use are for the top and bottom of the defrost duct "Y", and the heater core gaskets.
Perhaps some of those rectangular pieces are just scrap parts that the ship instead of throwing away???

Some of those square ones are for doors inside of the heater box, but man, I don't know how your going to get at them. I didn't even know there were that many doors in that box. They already tell you that some of the doors don't come out. Why they put them in there I don't know.
You could be right X33D80

As I recal, the big door can't be removed so I did my seal with it in place. Not easy, but it worked. Smaller doors amy come out (working from poor memory) by removing a clip on the shaft or positioning the shaft in the hole to slide out. My heater box is stored away and not easy to get to right now or I would look it over. The kits do have seals you will never use.

OK, I worked on the heater box this evening, and every piece has a purpose.
2 seals for top of defrost "Y"
1 seal for bottom of defrost "Y"
1 large seal for heater-core seat
1 seal for each of the three trap doors within the box
1 large seal with two holes for small block heater core
1 large seal with no holes to block firewall when using large-block heater core
1 small seal with two holes for large-block heater core
I think that is all of them.

1 large seal with no holes to block firewall when using big-block heater core
I never installed this seal when I did the conversion to BB, so I have the 2 holes showing from the SB core on the firewall.
How do I go about installing it now that I finally want to do it properly lol?

When reassmebling, 2x times check the the doors functuion the way they should, otherwise u will get the uint in and find it will not work, levers bind up in the wrong order.
The firewall seal, I wiped a thin layer of grease on the firewall, then a good sized silcone rtv bead onto the case, a bolted up not tight and let the bead set...then tightened the following day.
The silicone dosnt stick to the firewall and have a perminent seal...
works for Rear tail light seals, and doors windows etc in the home, and as a seal if the kitchen oven seals are knackered.

so your saying that I have to take off the blower motor cover from the firewall to install the seal.
