Hello all - I did a search but did not find much. As shown below I have a 68 SS 350. The spare that I have appears to be the original. The tire is a Uniroyal 7.35 x 14 with a white stripe. The wheel is an "FC" and is totally black. The FC translates to the 4 wheel drum which would be correct for my car.

One of the few original items missing when I got the car were the wheels. The sticker on the glove box lid showed F70-14.

I am wanting to get as correct as I can and am wondering, based on the spare, can anyone tell me if the car came with the 7.35 x 14 White Stripe option OR would the spare be standard?

I guess I am trying to determine if mine originally had the white stripes with the "SS" hubcaps. The FC would indicate non rally but could it be the non-rally caps with trim rings?

Your car may have been equipped with a full size spare rather than a Space Saver spare.

My '67 350SS car had (5) Firestone Wide Oval D-70/14 Redlines 's on and in it on body paint steel rims and dog-dish hub caps b/c that's the way I ordered it.

I forget whether they were 500's or just Wide Ovals, tho???
