I just finished my other cars( a 1969 small block corvette) and i am starting to rebuikd my 1968 camaro. The guy I bought it from was in the middle of a frame off restoration so the car is in pieces. Where is the best place to start. I am new to camaros and i need help. I have the assembly manual but without nowing what most of the parts are, i am lost. Any help will be really appreciated.

Welcome to the best darn Camaro site on Earth! I'm going to assume you are referring to re-assembly. If you still have to do more restoration work to the body I'd leave everything apart until that is finished.

Start with the suspension- put the frame back on, get all the misc. suspension parts back in etc., then start on the motor and drivetrain. After the major components are in start reassembling the body panels, get the car painted, then worry about electrical followed by interior.

You should find some pictures, other than the AIM, to refer to while reassembling. This site has plenty of Camaro pictures that might prove useful. Look in our member signatures for web site links, many of us document what we have done on our cars with pictures hosted there! You should also get the body and service manuals for 68 Camaros. Great references on how thing fit together- the AIM is good, but the drawings leave a lot to be desired for fine detail.
