Hey guys well I just won a set of these wheels on ebay and was wondering if they will fit on my 69? I know its a little late to ask this but when searching this topic I see that the 14X7 steel wheels are supposed to have a 4" backspacing... these however have a 4 3/4" backspacing?? a misprint or are these NOT the right wheels???

If they are really "XT" then the backspacing should be @4.00" - but, it is measured from the bead radius not the rim edge as usually given. The offset should be @ 0.50"
They should be "JJ" rim profile and should clear stock Disc set-up.

I quess he'll even ship to Hawaii ;)

Were there different "XT" wheels for disc or drum set-ups? Or was the "XT" wheel the same for both wheels?

I e-mailed the seller and they were infact 4" B.S.

Sorry for the late reply - getting ready for memorial and no time for anything til now.

The 'XT' rims are "JJ" profile to clear disc caliper. The will work with either Drum or Disc.
A "JK" profile, as found on most stand drum wheels of the day, will not usually clear a disc caliper.

"JJ" profile wheel can be found on other year chevy's also and any of them will clear a caliper.
The assemble code will tell the rim width, bolt circle, center type, backspace and offset. Also the 'Style' of the wheel.

"IF" wheels are listed on my Build Sheet as the wheel that came on my car.
I always thought my car had XT wheels. The IF wheels should be exactly the same 14x7 wheel as the XT. Those wheels will work just fine for what you want to do. Now I need to find some IF wheels.
