I just got done reading nastyz28.com's restoration corner or whatever and it was brought to my attention that there are more than one power steering setups for 1980 camaro z/28s. I was wondering if somebody could help me to identify the one(setup) that my vehicle has. Also, I know absolutely nothing about basic front-end, and steering systems so if someone could refer me to some good literate about how it works, or how to work on it, etc. I would like that. Or maybe someone would like to write in a really good, detailed explanation for me, that would be really cool too.

I suggest you buy two books, the factory "Helm" repair manual, and a good High School or above auto mechanics text book. The factory manual tells how to do various repairs, the text book tells how systems work.
