well, the fender is off and the blower motor is out. what a lame set up that is, but anyway,the box to the firewall it looked like some kind seam sealer was used to seal to the firewall. what did any of you guys use?

I used the clay weatherstripping from the hardware store.

You can again use seam sealer or "dum dum". Dum dum is a rope type caulk for autos. Soft and pliable.
