Help, I am having my rear kicked by these hideaway headlamp assemblies !!!!
I have an assembly manual, but not real clear. The car had been hit in the front and all was removed prior to my purchase.I bought the whole complete kit from Rick's First Generation..and needless to say their tech support has no support now that I spent my 4k !!!!!! PLEASE< any help would be greatly appreciated. Jim South Carolina :clonk:

this is on a 69 but can't be much different.
Also might try "Console Guage & Headlight wiring Diagram Manual" from Ricks First Gen.

Hi Jim,

I started to use the diagram that mrrepodude posted the link to, and then realized that there were differences between 68 and 69. The vacuum tank is different, making the hose routing different. The 68 also doesn't use the check valve. I finally got it sorted out recently. I can send or post pics if it will help.

Call back to Rick's and ask to speak with GREG in tech. He has been there for a long time and Helped me out on many occasions. :hurray:
