: Has anyone here ever drank Dehydrated Water?
garfield Apr 13th, 04, 01:14 PM This has got to be the crazest thing I've read in years. http://www.buydehydratedwater.com
Also today on CNN News 04/13/04, they were showing a new type of water used to put out fires that doesnt get anything else wet. The newscaster actually had a fish tank full of it and dipped his laptop computer down into the tank, pulled it out and let the excess water run out, then started typing and the thing still worked.. He poured a cup of it on his clothes and the stuff just ran right off. He stated that you can actually drop a book in a tank of this stuff and the book won't get wet..Totally Bizarre to say the least tongue.gif
CFunK Apr 13th, 04, 01:51 PM Hey Garf, pass it, don't bogart it........
pdq67 Apr 13th, 04, 02:51 PM What is it?? Something about the two words beginning with a b and an s!!
Kinda like that $10/oz pelleted freeze-dried ice cream sorta deal, imho!! Great marketing gimmic if you can get people separated from their hard earned money to buy it!!
BUT I have to admit that I do hope that Doctor's figure out how to use the 70 percent or so oxygenated liquid science has perfected to flush crud out of people's lung's!!
I didn't believe you could breathe a liquid and live until I saw a white lab. mouse swimming around in a totally full beaker of the stuff with the lid on with NO ill effects at all on TV!! Seems the liquid has so much oxygen dissolved in it that the lungs are able to absorb it like a fish does???
I have in mind cleaning long time smokers lungs before cancer gets them b/c of tar and nicotine buildup!!

MangeMD Apr 13th, 04, 03:23 PM Tar and nicotine buildup isn't what gets them...it's the carcinogens that are in the smoke (other chemicals).

Toad Apr 13th, 04, 09:30 PM Speaking of water, my friend told me that he once read in the paper that this whole town was freaking out because the local news ran a story on something that had contaminated their water supply. (Run on sentence?)
The local news said that dihydrogen oxide had contaminated their water. graemlins/clonk.gif Well all I can say is people will belive anything.
The person is smart, people are stupid. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
novaderrik Apr 13th, 04, 10:52 PM never heard of the water that won't get stuff wet, but i have heard of mixing a little bit of plain old colorless and flavorless gelatin with water and burying it next to trees in the desert to water them- the gelatin breaks down slowly over time and releases the water to keep the tree alive.
Everett#2390 Apr 14th, 04, 03:12 AM Apparently, this wouldn't be the water to use at a T-shirt contest.......... :D
