Starts fine when tank is full. the lower the tank gets the harder to start. Also any hints on replacing the stock fog lamps.

Welcome to the Club! When the tank gets lower on fuel, before starting, remove the gas cap to let the tank vent and see what happens.

Starting time is what when full?
As the tank level lowers, what is the start time?
Do you hear the in-tank fuel pump running for a couple seconds when ignition key is placed into IGN position? Should run for 2 seconds.

Another cause may be the fuel pump relay having a set of burnt contacts. If contacts are burnt, this condition will add resistance to the fuel pump power circuit and fuel pump itself may not operate correctly. If the engine takes a long time to crank before starting, the engine oil pressure switch is energizing the fuel pump.

You're on your own on fog lamps, sorry.

i had the same problem with my 94.it turned out to be the fuel pump.there is a check ball in the fuel pump to keep pressure in the line, and they go bad for some reason.try this:turn the key to the on position for 5 seconds(without starting it)then turn it off, then try to start it.your basically priming the fuel system.if this works then u know its the fuel pump.good luck....
