I am looking to add some gauges to the '67 and am torn between Digital or Analog. I like the "cool" factor a digital gauge gives but am wondering if they would look out of place in the '67.
Just looking to add a water temp, oil pressue, volt and tranny temp gauge.
Any opinions?

I've been doing the same thing for my 69. One thing, if you come across "custom rod gauges" stay away from them. Not very reputable. I like the analog as it will fit my style of car better and I am looking at replacing all the original gauges but I want them to fit the original 69 dash bezel. Dakota Digital has nice stuff, but not what I am looking for.

My son has a Dakota Digital in his 53 Chevy Truck. Looks nice but I hate it. I like to see gauges sweep across the face, not numbers going up and down. I think in a Hot rod they look OK, in a Camaro...forget it.
Just my .02 cents worth.

Well, I was not replacing the dash cluster on the '67, just adding the gauges under the ashtray so the look would not be in direct competition with the dash cluster.

My vote is to stay with analog!! I think that after the novelty wears off the constant changing numbers will be a pain. Analog is easier to see and comprehand ant a glance. IMO.

Fab a panel and stick with analogs. I have buds with digitals on just about everything and all of them don't like them as well as analogs.
