hey guys, I have a 69 BB with a Sanden a/c compressor mounted with Alan Grove mounts on the driver side. The car has a Be Cool radiator (the one for the car, not the universal). The upper inlet end is about 2" from the compressor pointing directly at it. Any suggestions on a hose? I could cut the thing off and reweld it, but I would rather find a hose. Thanks.

I read the thermostat housing is pointing at the compressor. You can get a straight ahead pointed housing rather than an angle pointed housing. GM did make these, so aftermarket will have it also. Check with any NAPA store.

Or, you could get a rotatable O-ring'd housing from Summit.

Your talking about the inlet of the radiator, right? I would get a hard 90 deg. elbow and mate it to the nipple with a short section of hose. I would trim the nipple back a little on the radiator, if need be. There's usually lots of material there to work with. It might look a little cobbled together, but it would work, if that's all your after. The only other 90 deg. fittings I know of are AN fittings and I wouldn't know how to mate one to a radiator nipple.

Upon further thought, I'm not sure I would cut off the circumferential bulge at the end of the radiator nipple. It makes a good seal with the hose, but I still think it would work.
