This might be a really dumb question but is there any way to know how many 12 bolt posi BV (.410) rear axles were installed in 69 Camaros? I have a 69Z with it stamped on the tube. I was just wondering since the info that I have is that the 3.73 was the standard ratio. Is it also true that .410 was the steepest gears that could be ordered and factory installed and steeper yet were dealer installed? A buddy is trying to tell me this.

8018 from the factory distributed under RPO G84 these numbers were spread between 4.10. 4.56, and 4.88 ratios in 69. No further breakdown on individual ratios within this RPO is available.

Obviously 4.10 wasn't the steepest gear available, 4.88 was.
