Its been a few weeks since I posted pics of my sanding and cleaning project up front. Got as much sanding done as I can reach, so now its time to wash with POR cleaner, then POR metal Ready, then POR paint on it all. I went thru 4 cup/wire wheel pieces and made a mess of my work clothes but the parts and frame all cleaned up nicely.

Degreasing is a pain in the butt! But it will sure look nice when you're done in there.

Man, that's a lot of cleaning! You've been BUSY!
What have you been running the wire wheels on? A drill or a grinder? That power steering pump is gleaming!
I'm doing the same thing on this engine and I'm getting sick of it. I need to buy a parts dip setup. ;)

Nothing here but an elec. reversing drill or my 12v battery drill for getting into odd spots underneath without the cord. The PS pump has 3 numbers on the case too. but to faint to make out. At times I wish I had a compressor and sand blasting setup but what the heck, I learn as I go. :)
